What Information Do We Collect?
Profile Information: Our primary goal in collecting profile information (which may include your name and the following business – and not home or personal – information: title, address, phone number, fax number and e-mail address) is to provide you with the best and most useful content and services, and to offer you opportunities to obtain other products and services from us and our partners.
We collect profile information when you provide it to us through the following: when you register on one of our sites or an e-mail newsletter. Several of the services that we offer on our sites may require registration as a condition of use. Once you register with one of the T3 network of sites, you are no longer anonymous to us.
Automatic Information: We automatically collect some information about your computer when you visit this website. For example, we will collect your IP address, Web browser software (such as Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer), and referring website. Our goals in collecting this automatic information include helping customize your user experience and inhibiting fraud.
If you register as a Member (such as by registering on a site or subscribing to a newsletter), T3 collects additional information, including your name and corporate title, the name of your company and the department in which you work, your industry group, country, zip code and telephone number (“Member Details”). At the time you register to become a Member, or later when you access a particular page or document, T3 may collect additional information, including but not limited to: information about software or hardware your company is using, plans your company may have to purchase additional information technology, etc. All of this information together is included in the definition of “Member Details”.
T3 may supplement Member Details with publicly available information about a Member’s company. For example, if a Member indicates she works for X Company, we may obtain information showing that X Company has a certain number of employees and a certain estimated annual turnover. This information is called “Supplementary Information”.
How Do We Use The Information We Collect?
Profile Information: T3 collects profile information supplied by visitors who register, as described above. That information lets us better tailor our content to visitor interests and supports marketing our services.
We may Process your User Information to contact you via email or other methods of communication to provide you with information regarding the Services that may be of interest to you. We may send information to you regarding the Services, upcoming promotions and other information that may be of interest to you, using the contact details that you have provided to us and always in compliance with applicable law.
You may unsubscribe from our email newsletter lists at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in every email we send. We will not send you any emails from a list you have selected to be unsubscribed from, but we may continue to contact you to the extent necessary for the purposes of any other Services you have requested.
T3 uses persistent cookies to link Members to their registration information, which allows our system to confirm a user’s identity and access level on the Sites. T3 also uses that information to track service selections, and save passwords so that Members do not have to log in each time they visit the Sites.
Session Information: We use this tracking technology for a variety of purposes, including:
- Keeping count of return visits to our site
- Keeping count of content access such as white paper downloads and viewing of published news stories.
- Accumulating and reporting anonymous, aggregate, statistical information on Web site and content usage to our partners and customers
- Determining which features visitors like best to help us improve our content and site, personalize your user experience, and measure overall site effectiveness.
We use Google to gather anonymous visitor statistics using Google Analytics. You can learn more about Google Analytics privacy here and information on opting out.
We use Member Information to deliver email newsletters on topics of interest to Members who have signed up. We may also send general promotional and marketing materials to Members. We use Member Information and Supplementary Information in aggregated form to understand our customer base and to market our services to our customers.
We may send general promotional and marketing materials to our Members, including newsletters, site updates, and marketing research surveys.
T3 may share profile information collected:
T3 utilizes the services of Survey Monkey and ClickDimensions for survey deployment and incentive distribution. If you do not wish to participate in market research or company surveys, simply opt-out from any survey email you receive.

Requests should be submitted by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are an EU resident and have any unresolved privacy concern that we have not addressed satisfactorily after contacting us, you have the right to contact the appropriate EU Supervisory Authority and lodge a complaint.
Consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, We will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without prior verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that a subscriber is under the age of 13 and has registered without prior verifiable parental consent, we will remove his or her personally identifiable registration information from our files. Please note: we may nevertheless maintain a record of that person’s name and address in a “do not register” file to avoid subsequent registration by a child under the age of 13.
T3 may modify or amend this policy from time to time. If we make any material changes in the way in which your profile information is collected, used or transferred, we will notify you of these changes on our site(s) or by e-mail and provide a link to the new privacy statement. If you object to any of the changes, you can have us delete your information from our database by contacting email@example.com.
Users who would rather not provide any of the user data requested by our registration process do not need to register with us. You can still view much of the content and use many of the services offered by our sites without registering.
Users may also remove themselves from emailing lists at any time through the email subscriptions link on the web site.
