Matthew Adamowicz is Principal and co-founder of T3 Information Systems. Prior to T3, Mr. Adamowicz served for 8 years as the Technology Partner of Tate & Tryon, overseeing the Microsoft Dynamics GP practice.
Professional and Industry Experience
Mr. Adamowicz has over 21 years experience working in public accounting, with 18 years working primarily with nonprofit organizations in the DC Metro area. His experience includes financial statement audits, accounting system implementations, and financial and budgeting system development.
Mr. Adamowicz has a high level of proficiency with computer hardware and software as it relates to financial systems and has vast experience in all aspects of accounting system implementations, as well as financial reporting and budgeting systems.
Mr. Adamowicz received his B.S. in Accounting from State University of New York at Geneseo. He is a member of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Christopher P. McCarthy
Christopher McCarthy is Principal and co-founder of T3 Information Systems. Prior to T3, Mr. McCarthy served for 6 years as President of Pierce Financial Systems, a Dynamics GP service provider and software development firm based in Fairfax, VA.
Professional and Industry Experience
Christopher McCarthy utilizes a broad range of technical skills combined with extremely solid business and analytical knowledge to provide clients with excellent and complete software solutions. Mr. McCarthy is proficient in process efficiency design, system integration, merger and acquisition information planning, and compliance and control achievement.
Mr. McCarthy has serviced the accounting software needs of clients for more than 13 years and possesses seven Microsoft Dynamics certifications. Mr. McCarthy has project managed the implementation of and the integration to Dynamics with great success. Additionally, he has also headed several efforts to integrate and consolidate the systems of large public companies onto a single accounting platform during merger and acquisition efforts. He also has extensive experience in achieving Sarbanes Oxley Compliance for several clients.
Mr. McCarthy received his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
Charles Tate, CPA, MS
Charles Tate is a Principal and co-founder of T3 Information Systems. He is also managing partner of Tate and Tryon. Mr. Tate has over 35 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations. Prior to forming the Firm, he worked in the Washington, DC office of Ernst & Young, LLP where he began working with nonprofit organizations. Mr. Tate has provided audit, tax, and consulting services to a wide range of tax exempt organizations including associations, professional societies, cultural, educational, scientific, research, and advocacy organizations.
Professional and Industry Experience Mr. Tate works directly with the management and boards of hundreds of organizations in helping them assess and improve key aspects of the organization’s financial governance, strategy, and operation such as:
Establishing critical links among the key elements of the strategic, operational, financial, reserve, and investment plans;
Development of guidelines for financial oversight by top management and the board of directors based on practices employed by hundreds of similar organizations;
Establishing and benchmarking key performance indicators based on financial and non-financial criteria; and
Enhancement of the internal control design and structure utilizing the five key elements described in the COSO framework.
He is a regular presenter to the Greater Washington Society of CPAs and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) on these and other related topics on emerging financial practices and financial governance.
Mike Tryon, CPA
Mike Tryon is a Principal and co-founder of T3 Information Systems. He is also a founding partner of Tate and Tryon. For 30 years, he has devoted his efforts exclusively to providing financial management services to charitable organizations, trade and professional associations, taxable subsidiaries, foundations, pension plans, political action committees, and those with special governmental requirements.
Professional and Industry Experience Mr. Tryon regularly advises Boards of Directors and senior management about issues associated with new or current accounting, audit, tax standards and other issues affecting tax-exempt organizations. He also provides counsel about operational efficiencies and financial controls, strategies for minimizing unrelated business income tax, and cost effective technology applications. He is known for his ability to communicate practical solutions to complex financial issues.
